At Sydney Cricket Ground. The program is included here as it has an unusual number of connections to Maher Cup country. West Wyalong's Lionel Cooper learned rugby league while in the Army during the War and was snapped up to play in Sydney. Jim Armstrong was from Junee but never (quite) was in place to play Maher Cup. The following did play Maher Cup: Cowra's Edgar Newham, Joe Jorgenson for Junee and George Watt for Boorowa.
